BROOKE ELISE SUTTER

Brooke Sutter is a tattoo artist in Madison, Wisconsin, at her private studio, Dark Bloom Tattoo. She began her tattooing career in 2016 and finished her apprenticeship at Lost Lakes Tattoo in October of 2017. Her studio, Dark Bloom Tattoo, opened in September of 2021 and operates by appointment only.

Brooke is enthusiastic about artistic designs that include nature-inspired themes, a dynamic use of negative space and work that is highlighted by quality placement on the body. Ethereal subjects are one of her favorites, anything that evokes feelings of intrigue, beauty, mystery, confusion and eerie vibes.

Her style is inspired by the world of traditional and blackwork tattoos. Brooke is obsessed with the dynamics of contrast involved in symmetrical and asymmetrical works of art and is constantly keeping in mind how the placement of a tattoo design can create the most aesthetic composition.
